Summary: The job duties will consist of, but are not limited to the following: development of electrical systems and control packages for new and used honing machines & ancillary equipment, process development & optimization, and development/maintenance of manufacturing documentation (I.e. Bills-of-Material, Product Drawings).

Responsibilities:
Documentation:
Maintain Item Master
Maintain Bills-of-Material
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures
Process & Product Development:
Review and optimize current processes & products
Develop new products and processes as required
Develop cost estimates for new products
Create Bills of Material and Drawings for new products
Sales Orders:
Interaction with Inside & Outside sales personnel to fulfill customer requirements
Customer Service:
Interaction with customers for order placement, product quoting, and delivery schedules
Requirements:
The successful candidate should possess a minimum of a 2 year degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in electrical design, schematic development & PLC programming
HMI programming experience
Servo systems programming and set-up
A thorough understanding of engineering drawings
Pc based machine control and programming knowledge is desirable
AutoCAD 2D software experience (SolidWorks 3D experience is desirable)
A knowledge of mechanical design concepts (pneumatic / hydraulic / automation)
Prior management background is desirable
Ability to travel on a limited bases for field service calls and machine installations
Advanced thorough understanding of Microsoft Office Applications, ERP System experience
Good interpersonal skills, able to communicate (verbal & written) effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization as well as interface with customer personnel
Self starter & ability to work unsupervised most of the time
Quality oriented with a sense of urgency to get result within a timely manner
Safety minded
Work overtime as required
Ability to present a professional image

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
