Payroll Manager
Our client is seeking a Detail Oriented Payroll Manager for a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and ability to maintain sensitive data in a confidential manner.
The essential job duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, however are not limited to the following;
? Coordination and management of entire payroll function.
? Manage and supervise direct reports within the Payroll Team.
? Assist with administering payroll (month end consolidation and processing support as required).
? Auditing of all payroll, ensuring compliance.
? Reporting - Supporting Internal reporting requirements.
? Projects as required i.e. continual improvement and standardization of payroll operations and systems.
? Calculation and payment of termination payments.
? Payment and reconciliation of bonus payments.
? Calculation, payment and reconciliation of payroll tax and group tax.
? Preparation and reconciliation of payment summaries.
? Develop and update payroll reference manual for managers.
? Workers compensation co-ordination i.e. process, monitor and file all claims and prepare payments.
? The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of Paychex and/or ADP
? Must be able to work well under pressure and provide excellent customer service for all payroll inquiries and requests.
? Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
? Minimum 3-5 years working experience, BA in Accounting or like experience required.
? Comprehensive and working knowledge of payroll systems.
? Demonstrated payroll management experience.
? Demonstrated team leadership ability.
? Ability to create and review policies and procedures.
? General knowledge California wage/pay law a plus-including multi-state
Salary range 55-63K, depending on experience plus annual performance bonus and full benefits package.
