Patient Care Coordinator

Bilingual Part Time 25 hour a week position open to join our Customer Service team as a Patient Care Coordinator. Conversio Health is a Pharmacy that provides medications and durable medical equipment. We are looking for energetic and positive people to provide customer service to our patients through outgoing and incoming phone contact. Patient Care Coordinators work together to exceed customer expectations and provide a consistent high level of service and patient care while achieving department goals. We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of successful team participation, as well as the ability to work independently. Must be able to act with sound judgment and high degree of confidentiality, prioritize and coordinate multiple complex tasks with frequent interruptions, while meeting strict deadlines with a high degree of accuracy. Our ideal candidate will have prior experience with telephonic sales and/or customer service. Knowledge of DME, medical terminology, and/or experience in the medical field is a plus, however extensive training will be provided. We are looking for enthusiastic, well-rounded, and motivated team players! Bi-lingual a plus.
Responsibilities:
o Assist patients with their refills and customer service for medications and DME supplies.
o Assist patients with signing up for services with Conversio Health.
o Prescription follow-up with Physician offices.
o Ensure that all Local, State and Federal laws are being followed.
o Understand and observe HIPAA policy regarding patient and/or co-worker confidentiality.
o Maintain a high work ethic, including attendance and professionalism in all areas.
Minimum
Qualifications:
o Minimum 1 year telephonic customer service and/or telephonic sales experience preferred.
o Excellent computer skills required including proficient knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook and demonstrated ability to quickly learn and work with customized software to maintain electronic patient charts.
o Must be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a talent for customer service and sales.
o Must have demonstrated professional demeanor.
o Must be efficient with strong attention to detail, organization and planning, and ability to prioritize tasks.
Criminal background checks and drug screens are completed before hiring.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
