$16.75/hr Part-Time (25 Hours per week)

Job Summary
The Video Production Specialist is a civilian position assigned to the Community Affairs Unit. The primary functions are to create video productions as required by the Sheriff or command staff, and to assist with the Citizen's Police Academy as needed. Works under the supervision of the PIO.
Essential Job Functions
o Manage the video production studio and maintain all associated equipment.
o Produce media presentations for CCSO and public use.
o Provides video services for special presentations
o Performs other video-related work as required.
o Assists the Public Information Officer with special media output and photography assignments.
o Assists with the CCSO Citizen's Police Academy (CPA).
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
o Good working knowledge related to video production, including knowledge of hardware and software.
o General photography skills.
o Good communication skills.
o Ability to work fluctuating hours on a day to day basis.
o Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors and establish cohesive, effective relationships with peers.
o Ability to operate all equipment listed in the EQUIPMENT USED section.
o Ability to multitask assignments.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
Ability to use discretion and exercise sound judgment.
Education or Equivalent Experience Required
High school diploma or GED.
Prefer two (2) year degree from accredited college or university in a related field
Prefer photography, audio, video editing skills or experience.

Vehicle / Computers / Video and photography cameras and related equipment / Media software and related editing software / Radios / Telephone / Copy Machine
Physical Effort
Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of standing, walking, hearing, kneeling, reaching, feeling, grasping, pushing, pulling, bending, climbing, crawling, fingering, and performing repetitive motions. Must be able to move classroom equipment and materials using a handcart/dolly. Carries objects such as projectors, cameras, and screens for distances up to 100 feet. Sets up and/or removes folding tables and chairs for classroom settings and various events. Stands for extended periods of time to make presentations. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Requires frequent driving to and from meetings, events and for other duties.
Working Conditions
Civilian must be able to work day or night, including possibly working on weekends, in accordance with coordinating the Citizen's Police Academy, Video Production assignments, and job related assignments. Hours may vary.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
