Senior Database Administrator with Data Architect experience, who will provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications within mature technology environments. This role will participate in software development and support efforts for large compliance application using Oracle 10g/11g databases and adhere to database coding standards, industry best procedures and data modeling techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation.
Skills List:
o Very Strong Experience in database design/development using Oracle 11g/10g.
o Solid Knowledge of Oracle Multiple RAC Nodes Implementation.
o Very Strong Experience in Oracle Goldengate / Data Guard Replication Configuration & Troubleshooting and Working closely with Global Support DBA teams in addressing the issues.
o Expert in Performance Tuning of application code at the database level.
o Experience in assisting in the determination of capacity planning and hardware sizing and archiving strategy.
o Experience in SQL & PL/SQL modules such as packages, procedures, functions and other database objects.
o Experience/advanced knowledge of designing conceptual, logical & physical data models and generating initial Data Definition Language.
o Experience working with ERWIN, IBM InfoSphere Data Architect Data Modeling Tool.
o Good knowledge of Unix/Linux and Shell scripting.
o Knowledge of Java/J2EE technologies will be added advantage.
o Will from time to time, provide quality and assurance oversight in ongoing implementations and /or will conduct assessments of existing decision support systems for purpose of making recommendations for improvements thereof.
