SUMMARY
Efficiently and accurately takes and delivers orders while possessing excellent interpersonal service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Serves food and beverages to guests seated at tables in sports bar.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
o Ensures that tables are always set up and presentable for customers;
o Makes verbal acknowledgement and eye contact with each patron;
o Initiates conversation with guests asking if a beverage is desired;
o Requests identification from customers when legal age is questioned;
o Takes beverage order by memory or noting on check and relays it to Bartender via computer;
o Collects order from Bartender, adds appropriate garnish, stir stick, places on tray, and serves to patrons with cocktail napkins;
o Observes guests to respond to any additional requests and to determine when drink has been finished;
o Takes orders for various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and serves light meals and hors d'oeuvres;
o Enters food orders in POS system cash register, computes bill, and accepts payment;
o Removes empty or dirty glasses, bottles and dishes from counters, tables and gaming areas and returns them to the bar or kitchen. Clears trash and keeps ashtrays clean and empty to maintain a clean and tidy appearance;
o Fills and replenishes condiments in exposed areas and keeps all surfaces around exposed areas wiped down;
o Ensures that the televisions are always showing sporting events;
o Understands and complies with all responsible service policies and Washington State Liquor Control Board laws;
o Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:

EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must be at least 21 years of age and have one to three months related cocktail serving experience and/or training. Experience with POS system is preferred. Must be able to maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance and be able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write orders and enter into computer system and relay information to Bartender and Cooks. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
A current Health Card must be obtained within fourteen (14) days and a Tips Card and Class 12 Mixologist permit within sixty (60) days of employment if deemed necessary for your position.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
