PILLAR, Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Traffic Engineer with managerial experience leading teams and a familiarity with budgets for its Virginia offices. Work will primarily be within the Commonwealth.
A successful candidate must have the following minimum
Qualifications:
a B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution, five years of experience in Traffic Engineering, valid Virginia PE license with certified PTOE designation, and previous demonstrated proficiency in applying traffic operations and traffic design principles and applicable manuals, policies, procedures, standards, and state DOT requirements.
Applicant should be friendly, outgoing, articulate, a team player, and an ambitious go-getter. Managerial experience leading teams and a familiarity with budgets are a must. Experience should include calculations, corridor studies, cost estimates, demand modeling, field surveys, knowledge of traffic analysis software, pedestrian safety studies, plan review, quantity takeoffs, safety studies, traffic forecasting, traffic safety analyses, traffic signal design, and other similar tasks associated with the position of a PTOE.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
