Manager, Development, Americas Independent Power Producing Industry (North America and Latin America)Compensation to $140k with 25% bonus targetOur client is looking for strong entrepreneurial individuals to help fuel their Global growth initiatives.
The focus will be on global project development mergers, acquisitions and divestures.
The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated track record in the Independent Power Producing industry or electricity industry.
JOB SUMMARYAs a member of the global Development and Strategy team, you will contribute to meeting the enterprise growth targets.
Responsibilities include:
Lead day to day work required to implement the project delivery strategyPrepare and oversee bids, investment materials, including transaction strategy, internal approval documents and presentationsEnsure project directors are kept up to date with transaction issues and potential solutionsOversee specific areas of the project development processOversee project evaluation and analysisCoordinate functional leads and third party consultantsSupport origination and regional strategy development effortsSupport and potentially lead contract negotiationsMake tactical decisions for the advancement of an individual projectFollow industry news and trends and advise senior team membersCOMPETENCIESIndustry knowledge and business decision making skillsStrong organization wide influencing skills (ability to develop strong recommendations to persuade colleagues and external clients)Flexibility, creativity and ability to deal with ambiguityProject management and execution skillsAbility to navigate through a complex cross-function/cross-cultural matrix environmentAbility to operate across countries and culturesAbility to effectively represent the company in meetings with senior business leaders and key government officialsExperience developing power plant financial models and understanding of fundamental market analysisExcellent interpersonal, collaboration, presentation and written communication skillsREQUIRED SKILLSEducationo Bachelor's Degree required, Advanced degree preferredExperienceo 5-10 (overall/or industry)o Extensive knowledge of the international power generation and related energy industrieso Experience working in a variety of countries and cultureso Proven track record of supporting the negotiation and closing of projects of significant size and complexityo Demonstrated leadership and project management skillsSpanish language proficiency strongly preferred and the ability and willingness to travel is required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
