Intake Coordinators create a safe environment and ease a worried mind in a caring and compassionate fashion.
Job Description:
o Intake coordinators are responsible to meet and transport new and existing clients to any of our locations.
o Complete in-depth intake paperwork in accordance with HIPAA and DCF guidelines.
o Process clients belongings and transition clients to programming.
o They will maintain confidentiality of patient records, recognize crisis situations and provide appropriate intervention and help.
o The intake coordinator must provide this support within the facilities policy and procedures and within standards set by licensing regulators.
o Possible situations could include emergency care, basic first aid, and crisis intervention.
o Communicate effectively the recovery process and encourage clients during what can be a stressful time.
Qualifications/Requirements:
o Current driver's license is required.
o Must have the ability to work evenings and weekends.
o Minimum High School Diploma/GED
o Minimum of 2 years of sobriety, if applicable.
o Basic understanding of the terms and culture of addiction and recovery.
o EMT training, Medical assistants, CPR, First aid and CDL's are tools that are beneficial in this position but not required.
o Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to make decisions independently and communicate effectively when dealing with clients, families, other staff members, department heads, visitors, external agencies and community members.
o Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with appropriate documentation skills to complete reports, utilize data and communicate ideas constructively.
o Demonstrated proficiency in web-based applications and Microsoft Office; demonstrated ability to utilize an electronic management system.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
