Mekatron Premier Automotive Service of Concord, is a well established, AAA approved, top rated auto repair shop in Contra Costa County. We have been in business for 45 years. We specialize in preventive maintenance and repair of Asian autos. We have recently added European makes to our shop.
We are currently searching for a heavy duty Tech and a diagnostic Master Technician.
The entire philosophy of Mekatron is based on honesty and high quality work. Attention to detail is a must. Our customers follow a regular system of factory services from new to 250,000 miles or more and keep their cars in almost faultless condition. Heavy duty Tech Qualifications Include:
Factory Services
Head Gaskets
Timing Belts/chains
Engine RE & RE
Transmission RE & RE
Clutches
Cooling system work
Air conditioning
Brakes and Chassis Work and alignments etc.
All installer work
As we are an AAA shop our contract requires all Technicians must have ASE certification within six months of starting
Master diagnostic technician Qualifications include:
Factory Services
Drivability diagnosis/repair
Electrical Diagnosis/repair
Transmission Diagnosis/repair
ABS diagnosis/repair
SRS diagnosis/repair
Air conditioning diagnosis/repair
Failed Smog Diagnosis/repair
Overheating diagnosis/repair etc.
Some installer work as workflow dictates
Proficient in use of scanners, lab scopes and all electronic test equipment and understanding of networks and on board computer systems
Technician must have all 8 ASE Master certification including L1 and a smog license.
Both will need:
5
years experience preferably with Japanese imports. Knowledge of European cars is a plus.
Be prepared to attend extensive schooling in new techniques
Valid CA driver's license and a good driving record
High school diploma or the equivalent
Must pass any background checks performed including but not limited to; drug test and credit report.
Be prepared to take a proficiency test at the time of interview
Authorized to work in USA
Must be honest, dependable, clean professional appearance, possess good communication skills and be a team player
