Quality Assurance Lead
Our client is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Lead.
This is a DIRECT HIRE, PERMANENT position, NOT a consulting engagement.
This resource will be responsible for the development and execution of manual and automated testing efforts within the company.
This role will communicate status for fixes and deployments; delegate tasks and provide guidance to the QA team; determine root causes of issues; organize test plans and create test cases and document results.
Responsibilities:
o Communicate QA status on open deployment items to the team and department heads o Responsible for deployment tracking of progress and status of issues o Delegate tasks to QA team members and follow-up on results o Participate in analyzing and designing test suites o Create, maintain, implement test plans and test cases o Performs functional, system, integration and usability testing on new applications as well as enhanced or modified software.
o Document test results and report findings.
o Guide less experienced analysts with complex problems regarding testing approaches, application knowledge, and technical knowledge o Assist in preparing user requirements and training o Determine root causes of system problems and work with the development team Education/
Experience:
o Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience o Seven years of Quality Assurance experience including both manual and automated testing.
At least 2 years experience in a Lead role.
Knowledge/Skills Required:
o Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel o Experience with advanced troubleshooting, problem solving and root cause analysis o The ability to deliver on deadline in a fast paced environment and to handle multiple, shifting priority projects o Ability to work independently and in a team environment o Pivot table and VLOOKUP experience a plus, as is experience with MS Team Foundation Server (TFS) To learn more about this role, or to submit your profile for consideration, please contact Rebecca Dimmick at email removed .
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
