Contract IT Technical Writer
ProEdit's client has an immediate need for a senior technical writer for a full-time, onsite, 6-month contract opportunity in Suwanee, GA (ZIP code: 30024). The technical writer will work closely with network engineers to create supporting documentation, standard operating procedures, and network architecture diagrams for both internal and external use. There is some existing documentation, but our customer is seeking a technical writer who can make suggestions for best practices moving forward.
This is a great opportunity to work with a growing company in the IT Services industry. There is a possibility that this contract will be extended.
Minimum Requirements:
5 years of technical writing experience
Strong IT background, with a focus on networks, storage, or virtualization technologies
Ability to communicate effectively with technical SMEs, including network engineers and cloud architects
Expert proficiency with MS Office
Ability to create complex diagrams using Visio or a similar tool
Ability to present relevant writing samples
Must be able to work full time, onsite in Suwanee, GA
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
