Production Assembler
Job Description Job SummaryUsing a variety of hand & power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment perform a series of operations to correctly assemble/test machinery.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
1.
Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures.
2.
Comply with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements per Rogers Quality System.
3.
Completes all administrative functions relating to business or regulatory requirements.
4.
Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Production Supervisor.
5.
Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Education &
Experience:
1.
High school diploma or equivalent.
2.
Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English3.
Strong mechanical backgroundPreferred:
1.
Good written and oral communication skills.
2.
Electrical or welder experience in the industrial fieldPhysical Requirements:
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach within hands and arms length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
