Supervisory General Engineer
You will serve in the capacity of a Supervisory General Engineer with supervisory responsibilities over the Projects Section for the Engineering Service at the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System.
Major duties include but are not limited to:
Providing engineering knowledge for project planning and coordination; Conducting short and long range project planning; Supervising a section of general engineers, an engineering technician and a program support assistant; Performing duties of a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) on construction projects; Training staff on technical aspects related to projects; Designing and providing technical oversight of contract work; andAssigning workload and specific projects.
