This Position
We are adding several additional Software Engineers to our team. All candidates will possess or obtain a TOP SECRET clearance. We need a variety of experience levels including:
Intermediate: 5 years experience; Journeyman: 7 years; Senior: 9 years
Compensation
Compensation derives from experience level and will pay from $60,000 - $90,000.
Location
This work will be at Ft. Huachuca, Arizona. There is no possibility of remote work.
Duration
The initial period of work is one year. There are 2 additional option years.
Scope of Work
Our current need is to support defining geospatial systems and system requirements working with end users and defining requirements for the development and test teams - driving the Design phase of the SDLC. Program work follows an Agile SDLC so individuals will work defining and designing program elements in repetitive 2-3 weeks efforts. Specific tasks may include:
Modernize and modify individual software systems as required to integrated into LandWarNet
Provide technical support, services and SME
Configure and test commercially available hardware or software tools
Provide technical assistance for maintaining licences
Provide research and recommendations on available hardware and software tools
Configure and install new hardware and keep development environments operational
Provide timely analysis and modification to the software
Integrate individual supported systems, including software, installation, troubleshooting, configuration, problem resolution and documenting problems
Provide sustainment, maintenance and transition support
Provide administration support and training
Requirements
Degree in computer science, information science, electrical engineering or equivalent technical discipline
At least 5 years of experience
US Citizenship required
TOP SECRET clearance
Experience with software development including object oriented design and development, iterative and traditional development life cycles, unit and system testing, code management and version control
Experience in deployment support for IT development projects
Exceptional communication skills (written and oral)
C#, C++, Java (two of three)
HTML, Javascript
SQL

DODAF experience
Design Patterns

DCGS-A experience
Experience with Web Services
