This Position
We are adding several additional System Engineers to our team. All candidates will possess or obtain a TOP SECRET clearance. We need a variety of experience levels including:
Intermediate: 2 years experience; Journeyman: 3 years; Senior: 5 years
Compensation
Compensation derives from experience level and will pay from $60,000 -$88,000.
Location
This work will be at Ft. Huachuca, Arizona. There is no possibility of remote work.
Duration
The initial period of work is one year. There are 2 additional option years.
Scope of Work
Our current need is to support defining geospatial systems and system requirements working with end users and defining requirements for the development and test teams - driving the Design phase of the SDLC. Program work follows an Agile SDLC so individuals will work defining and designing program elements in repetitive 2-3 weeks efforts. Specific tasks may include:
Establishing and documenting functional and technical specifications, standards, and interface control documentation
Ensuring quality control, supporting requirements document releases, and supporting the translation of operational needs and/or system level requirements into system functional and performance specifications
Supporting and verifying the identification, definition, and engineering of system/sub-system interfaces, associated requirements, the interface elements and attributes, and inter-relationships across the multiple systems that make up the customer's legacy, evolving, and future architectures
Familiarity with relational database design and implementation
Supporting customer, working groups (WG), technical exchanges (TEM), and integrated product team (IPT) meetings,including scheduling of meetings, preparing agendas, taking meeting minutes, and recording and tracking action items
Preparing and delivering briefings for various technical exchange and programmatic meetings
Requirements
Degree in computer science, information science, electrical engineering or equivalent technical discipline
Experience with at least 2 years of experience
US Citizenship required
TOP SECRET clearance
Experience in and with system engineering processes, including requirements definition, documentation and management; analysis; customer and stakeholder management; risk management; definition/determination of Use Case/CONOPS/and functional features and lifecycle development
Experience in software development using spiral iterative/agile development approaches
Experience in deployment support for IT development projects
Exceptional communication skills (written and oral)
Preferred
DODAF experience

DCGS-A experience
Experience with Web ServicesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
