Industrial Sewer
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic workers with sewing experience. Industrial sewing experience preferred, but company may be willing to train if candidate has extensive sewing knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare machine by changing needles and thread, oiling and changing bobbin, and securing attachments.
Sew materials together by guiding material under machines needle.
Responsible for maintaining quality in completed products.
Meet or exceed monthly productivity goals for the position.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Industrial sewing of various types of fabric including vinyl and mesh.
Maintains quality by inspecting finished product.
Qualifications
Must be able to lift 30
pounds without assistance.
Must be able to follow instructions.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Must possess high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Must be able to bend, stoop, sit, or stand for extended periods of time.
Must have thorough comprehension of reading and speaking English.
Must pass a national background check (no felonies, theft, violence or sex crimes).
Must pass a drug test.
Pay Rate:
$11.00 per hour
Hours:
Monday-Friday from 6:
00AM-2:
30 with a 30-minute unpaid lunch (overtime available if interested after first 30 days --> M-F 6:
00AM-4:
30PM & Sat 6:
00AM-12:
00PM).
