IT Network Administrator

We are currently hiring for an IT Network Administrator who is:
o Responsible to execute IT network solutions with a coordinated effort through cross-functional teams.
o Hands-on in a dynamic environment where everyone is challenged by rolling up their sleeves to develop and implement solutions.
o Self-motivated and thrives in a fast -paced, cutting-edge, lean systems environment, where priorities can often change on a daily basis.
Basic Responsibilities
o Maintain network infrastructure- Work to provide maximum availability of data and voice services or devices. Monitor and manage LAN and WAN systems.
o Business Analysis- Participate in the business planning process and align the IT functions to meet the business needs.
o IT Organization support- Communicate with and support activities of the fellow IT staffs in Telecom & Infrastructure - Enterprise Applications - ERP and PMO groups. Participate in SME group activities.
o Administration- Coordinate internal and external technical resources to provide maintenance and support of installed I.T. network infrastructure. Review proposed purchases for justification and adherence to standards.
o Phone Systems- Provide second level support for the Telecommunications Strategy.
o Respond to and act on all incidents in the Networks as problems occur - i.e.; outages
o Work with IT team(s) to resolve network issues as they are presented - i.e.; Incident Monitor Tickets and Reported incidents
o Maintains Network Documentation - Document all Network equipment, Document Network WAN and LAN Infrastructure, Policies and Procedures.
o Maintain networks - i.e.; Suggest and implement upgrades and updates as needed to maintain the health of all networks; Cisco Unified Communications maintenance
Required Qualifications
o Bachelor's degree in a related IT discipline
o 2-6 years' experience in an IT discipline.
o Experience with LAN, Desktop PC's, Applications and Operating systems.
o Excellent communication, active listening, leadership and facilitation skills.
o Ability to effectively prioritize and execute projects / tasks in a high-pressure environment.
o Strong analytical problem solving skills. Excellent negotiation and customer service skills
o Good reasoning abilities, sound judgment and team player
o Committed to continually learning and keeping pace with industry.
o Must be proactive, self-motivated and able to work with a minimum of direct supervision in a fast paced environment.
o Proficient with MS Project, Office, PowerPoint and Visio software
o Cisco experience including Callmanager.
o Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, customers and suppliers
o Some domestic travel maybe required. Overtime as needed to meet critical needs or project deadlines
Preferred
Qualifications:
o MCSE, MCP, CCIE, A
certification
o Riverbed experience
