Defect Inspection Manager

Location : Augusta, ME

We are seeking an experienced Inline Defect Inspection Manager who will join a team of process, device and
equipment engineers working in a dynamic and challenging manufacturing environment to improve fab defect
density metrics. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment to reduce defectivity on CMOS,
BiCMOS, MEMS and IGBT processes.
Key
Responsibilities:
Work cross-functionally with unit process modules to ensure tool and process based defectivity is monitored
and driven down to exceed the Fab's overall defect density reduction efforts. This manager will steer efforts to
ensure results with the unit process modules, resolving defect excursions and creating defect reduction
initiatives and action plans.
The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with the Device/Product Engineering teams to monitor
and trend defects associated with the process and products running in production. This team will work
on defectivity improvement efforts in order to maximize product yields.
Required knowledge & experience
Over 10 years experience in semiconductor yield improvement and defect reduction with Semiconductors
Experience leading a direct group of engineering professionals
BS degree is required with Electrical, Chemical or Physics preferred
A solid working knowledge of device physics and process integration
Six-sigma training (black or green belt), and/or lean manufacturing certification is a plus
Excellent SPC/DoE methodology essential
Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to
react to shifting priorities to meet business needs, deadlines and commitments
Proven leadership and positive execution in semiconductor technology development, product/yield
engineering and/or materials analysis technologies.
Exceptional communication and interaction skills with ability to influence and lead initiatives cross-
functionally.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
