Mechanical Engineer

The Engineering Department designs and builds high tech machinery to meet our customers needs. Additionally, some travel to install and train at the customers locations is required.
Hours of work: Mon-Fri 8-5pm with travel 20-30% from 2-10 days at a time, including weekends.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
Duties include designing machine from concept to finished machine.
3D CAD (Solidworks experience preferred)
Provide drawings to fabrication shop.
Provide assembly drawings for assembly personal.
BOM and sourcing of all parts.
Assembling the machines.
Provide manuals.
20-30% travel 2-10 days at a time to setup and install machines.
Includes setting machines up at customers site.
Starting machines up.
Interfacing with customer and other on site vendors.
Providing customer training.
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
Must know Windows 7 and have good networking knowledge.
Basic electronics skills, reading a voltage meter, soldering, cable assemblies.
Drill, tap and cutting holes.
Should be able to work with little direction.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must be able to rent a car.
Have strong problem-solving and customer relations skills.
Compensation includes benefits.
EOEEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
