REGISTERED NURSE- LONG TERM CARE, SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, FULL TIME


Position Summary
Provides professional nursing care to the Skilled Nursing Residents, utilizes restorative nursing measures focusing on residents self care deficits, utilizing established policies and procedures, ensuring safe and effective care, services are provided based on the ages of the population served; Adult through geriatric - 65 years or older and in collaboration with the multidisciplinary care team, assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary care team, demonstrates the knowledge and skill necessary to identify and meet the individualized needs of all residents served in Skilled Nursing. The SNF Nurse is under the supervision and reports to the Director of Skilled Nursing.

Minimum Education
Completion of an accredited Nursing program

Minimum Experience
One year recent acute care nursing experience preferred
Previous Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing experience preferred
Sufficient computer skills as are required to complete an online application and the pre-employment/annual Net Learning requirements
In compliance with patient safety standards, must be able to effectively communicate in English; Bilingual abilities preferred

Certifications/Licensures
Current California RN license or ability to obtain prior to start date
Current CPR/BLS certification by the American Heart Association (BLS for the Healthcare Provider) or ability to obtain prior to start date

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
