Corporate Sales Manager
The Grande Colonial is hiring a Corporate Sales Manager for our Sales & Catering department.
This position would be responsible for managing corporate preferred travel programs and consortia with a focus on increasing the annual production from both segments and for generating new business and increasing annual production for the social group room block segment.
The essential responsibilities of this position would include the following:
Maintains established customer relations and generates new relationships
Conducts sales trips to visit top clients, travel agencies and feeder cities
Handle all account details
Conducts property tours and prepares information for site inspections
Conducts competitive set site tours and builds relationships with competitive set to
gain referrals
Attends industry related meetings and events
Solicit, contract and service corporate and consortia accounts via regular
correspondence, outside sales calls and phone solicitation
Completes consortia and corporate RFP's for companies requesting negotiated rates
Meets monthly consortia and corporate preferred room night and revenue goals
Manages and oversees corporate preferred amenity program
Manages and oversees corporate preferred company of the month program
A qualified candidate must have an Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience with the business travel (BTI) market is a plus! Must have excellent attention todetail and have the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment!
