Imports Data Entry
Data Entry positionImport ClerkReports to:
Import ManagerDuties & Functions:
1.
Process Import commercial documents for US Customs entries.
2.
Ensures that all commercial documents are complete and conform to corporate policies, in accord with CFR 19.
3.
Track, verify and process invoices for payments to vendors and service providers.
4.
Maintain complete and accurate records of payments issued and payments received.
5.
Follow up with vendors and service providers via email and phone to resolve any payment issues or questions.
6.
Assist with entry writing, and validating commercial documents for US Customs entries.
7.
Assist with ACH payment to US Customs.
8.
Assist with Container Traffic flow and resolve discrepancies, troubleshoot delivery delays.
9.
Assist with Entry Liquidation process in accord with CFR 19.
10.
Other tasks as directed by the Import Manager.
Requisite Knowledge:
1.
Familiarity with Import Export Process and Regulations.
2.
Basic knowledge of clerical and general accounting procedures.
3.
Strong overall computer skills, spreadsheets and all Microsoft Office.
4.
Ability to input data accurately and in a timely manner.
5.
Attention to detail is imperative to job performance.
6.
Ability to work in an orderly, organized fashion.
7.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
8.
Good attendance and punctuality is essential.
9.
Demonstrates good problem solving skills.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
