Financial Analyst, Business Analyst

MAJOR RESPONSIBLITIES
As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in performing critical financial planning, business analysis and reporting duties contributing to the effective strategic direction of our maturing organization. The primary focus of the Financial Planning and Analysis team is to provide finance support to the executive team through planning, forecasting, business case development and financial reporting. The Analyst will report directly to and work alongside the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
o Assist leadership in the development and implementation of annual budgets and forecasts
o Perform periodic variance analysis of budgeted, forecasted and actual financial performance, clearly interpreting and documenting variance drivers
o Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze and prepare recommendations regarding acquisition activity, business cases and future requirements to meet performance targets
o Develop and interpret financial/quantitative metrics including plant performance to aid manufacturing team
o Prepare a monthly financial analysis report for the management team including inventory
o Execute ad-hoc financial/quantitative analysis and various requests in support of business unit and corporate executives
o Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. Incumbent will follow other job-related instructions and perform other job-related duties from time to time if requested by department management
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENT
o Written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills
o The ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis
o Business case development
o Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
o Strong financial/business modeling skills; data analysis experience a plus
o Ability to be adaptive to frequent changes in priorities, organization and strategy; flexible to deadlines with short lead times
o A proactive, independent thinker
o Demonstrates initiative and can figure things out with limited direction
o Effective oral and written communication skills with a strong ability to efficiently communicate financial results to both financially and non-financially oriented persons
EXPERIENCE /EDUCATION / TRAINING
Degree in Finance, Accounting and/or related field
Minimum two (2) years of progressive financial and/or accounting experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry
LOCATION
Candidates in the Mount Pleasant Texas area, or willing to relocate Mt. Pleasant, Texas will be considered first. However, for the right candidate it could be located via satellite office in Rockwall, TX.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
