Title: Business Analyst
Industry: Healthcare IT
Location: Pleasanton, CA
Pay Rate Range: Depends on Experience (W-2 all inclusive rate)
Purpose and Description:
Advises and recommends areas of program planning, business requirements management, budget execution and program coordination.
Prepares needs assessment.
Validates resource requirements and develops cost estimate models.
Conducts and coordinates financial, product, market, operational, and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments and programs of the client group.
Interprets, evaluates, and interrelates research data, and develops integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making.
Plans and coordinates the development of primary and secondary market research studies in support of strategic planning and specific marketing initiatives, as required, and presents findings of studies to client committees.
Provides consultative, advisory, technical, and staff support, as appropriate.
Ability to use survey and market research methodologies, systems, and techniques.
Responsibilities:
Research as directed by Product owner on business needs, requirements, current state, existing systems, constraints, etc.
Creating documentation, user stories, or other materials needed by development team
Participating in team meetings to listen for potential constraints, predecessors, integration points, etc. and reporting out to affected teams.
Participating in ideation, brainstorming, co-creation, and validation sessions.
Some User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Education:
BA or BS required
Required Experience and skills:
Experience level- 3 yrs minimum. 5 yrs desired
Business requirement documentation. User story writing.
Engagement and interviewing stakeholders to discover needs and requirements.
Excellent skills with MS Word, Excel, Visio.
Ability to write and validate UAT scripts.
Soft Skills:
Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written)
Collaborative, working with teams and multiple stakeholders
Drives for results, get through roadblocks, self-direction and problem-solving skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
