JOB DESCRIPTION
This position is responsible for all finance/accounting aspects of the Cordele, GA and Caldwell, ID plants. It will partner with the plant management team in successfully managing the manufacturing operations and meeting financial objectives. Key areas of focus include monthly performance analysis, budget/forecast development and support of cost reduction initiatives. The Cost Accountant will be a member of the Finance & Accounting department and will report directly to and work alongside the CFO. This position provides a great opportunity to learn, develop and be part of a dynamic environment.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Budgeting and Forecasting
Financial Analysis and Problem Solving
Identifying and reducing material waste and aged inventory
Physical inventory process
Month-end closing process
Development of profit improvement projects.
Leadership/Management of capital projects.
Internal Control
Financial/quantitative analysis
EXPERIENCE /EDUCATION / TRAINING
Minimum five (5) years of progressive financial and/or accounting experience within the manufacturing industry
Degree in Finance, Accounting and/or related field
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
Hands-on cost accounting and shop floor experience
Strong financial/business modeling skills; data analysis experience a plus
Ability to be adaptive to frequent changes in priorities, organization and strategy; flexible to deadlines with short lead times
A proactive, independent thinker who can figure things out with limited direction
Effective oral and written communication skills with a strong ability to efficiently communicate financial results to both financially and non-financially oriented persons
LOCATION
This position can be located in either the Cordele, GA or Boise, ID facilities and will require 50% travel.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
