Purpose and Description:
We're seeking a Senior Data Analyst for our Consumer Loyalty and Retention team within Direct Marketing.
The Senior Data Analyst position is responsible for supporting the development, enhancement and ongoing maintenance of list management database, customer response database and other databases.
Other responsibilities include facilitating reporting to internal and external clients; validating data; documenting data interchange between our organization and assigned vendors; and campaign analysis.
The position may also assist in the development of project proposals, recommendations, implementation plans, communication packages, performance measurement tools, and training materials related to the assigned projects as appropriate.
Develop marketing campaigns in SAS and/or Unica as well as provide data management for analytics
Essential Functions:
Provide data architectural leadership in developing enterprise data/process models, and logical/physical database designs.
Provide data and database development, maintenance, and production support.
Participate in IT and Business project to define system requirements.
Business process modeling - enterprise to department level
Ability to interpret Entity Relationship Diagrams.
Assist in development and maintenance of data collection and analytic tools, including databases and related systems
Under supervision, support marketing campaigns by providing project management and list management support
Under supervision, design and execute complex analytics projects that involve data collection and analysis for a broad array of retention issues across disciplines and functional areas
Ensure data integrity and consistency is achieved across relevant data systems
Uses multivariate statistical analysis techniques to analyze data and produce preliminary reports
Define and execute standard reports for consumption by partners
Serve as analytics SME for campaign segment.
Design studies and evaluate results of those studies
Serve as campaign strategy thought partner with designated Marketing Managers
Manage existing campaigns by checking status of automated work, QA data reports for discrepancies and work with vendors to resolve issues if any;
Develop new campaigns in SAS or Unica by working with marketing managers and analytics team to identify campaign targets and exclusions as well test design.
Develop & QA campaign and share results with multiple groups.
Work with outside vendors to ensure file delivery and final execution. And provide final reporting for the campaign.
Automate recurring campaigns in SAS or Unica
Work with other teams to resolve data issues.
Required
Experience:
Bachelors degree. A major or minor in a quantitative discipline such as computer science, engineering, statistics or math
Minimum of 2 years of analytic support for data analysis and reporting.
Understanding of SAS, SPSS or other statistical analysis package
Must know how to write database queries and manipulate and generate reports.
SAS OR Unica experience required
SQL (TOAD, SQL Developer or other preferred)
Excel and PowerPoint

Some presentation experience preferred
