Adoption Preservation Therapist
Full-time opportunity to provide full range of therapeutic services to clients (children, youth, adolescents, and families) in the adoption preservation program and who either have been affected by trauma, or have been diagnosed with pervasive developmental disorders, attention-deficit and disruptive behaviors disorders among others. Must be able to work collaboratively with adoptive families and other services providers. Position requires compliance with state mandates, COA and Medicaid standards, agency policies and program plans. Position also requires weekly travel to the clients' home located in Knox, Henry, Henderson, or McDonough counties.
Requirements
o Position requires compliance with state mandates, COA and Medicaid standards, agency policies and program plans.
o Position also requires weekly travel to the clients' home. Master's in social work or related human services field.
o Must hold a License or be licensure candidate.
o Valid IL driver's license with access to an insured vehicle required.
o Good communication skills.
o Candidate must pass fingerprint and criminal background check.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
