Position Description:
Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a Supply Chain Analyst opening to join our KitchenAid Portable Appliance Logistics organization in Greenville, OH.
Day to Day
The Supply Chain Analyst role has primary responsibility for providing functional support for the software applications used by the KitchenAid Portable Appliance Logistics Organization. The primary applications are Manhattan's warehouse management system and Bastian's warehouse automation system. Responsibilities also include first-level support of peripheral hardware including scanners and printers. This position is part business-side and part technical. It will require a thorough understanding of business processes along with sufficient technical knowledge for you to carry out minor software configuration changes and to effectively communicate and work with technical team members to facilitate larger fixes and enhancements.
What You Will Do
Be a trusted partner for the business and a subject matter expert for Greenville's logistics solutions
Handle smaller software configuration changes
Provide first-level support of scanners and printers for the operations
Facilitate requirements and design sessions with the user community and communicate these requirements to the development team for the design and implementation of solutions
Work closely with the distribution center operational staff to understand and prioritize fixes and enhancements
Guide the Greenville business in the identification and development of functional and technical requirements
Translate business requirements and work with Global Information Systems technical resources on enhancements and projects
Provide support in design sessions with business and Global Information Systems team members
Analyze the impact of proposed solutions across the business
Partner with business relationship managers and subject matter experts
Provide on-call and off-shift support to ensure operational continuity
What You Need To Succeed
In-depth understanding of business processes, needs and future direction
Thorough knowledge of the Greenville logistics software applications and systems capabilities. Requires and in-depth working knowledge of Manhattan warehouse management software
Knowledge of Bastian or other automated systems is a plus
Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information systems or equivalent work experience and training
Basic knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0
Self-motivated and proactive
Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a collaborative environment
Ability to interpret customer business needs and translate them into operational and project requirements
