Textile/Print Designer - Swimsuits For All
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide art and design services for S4all
Support Product Managers/Business Directors with the visualization, presentation and communication of design concepts through CAD art work
Effectively use CAD tools to develop all artwork
Scan and manipulate purchased artwork to develop original designs
Match color using CAD tools
Use Adobe Illustrator to create garment sketches if necessary
Participates in viewing artwork from outside sources
Responsible for keeping up with new CAD technology
Maintain computer workstation to ensure accurate color printing and timely completion of projects
Order supplies as necessary
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in fashion design, graphic design, textile design or related field
5 years apparel/sewn goods industry
Experience with Computer Aided Design and/or graphic-oriented software applications.
Competent PC user
Strong working knowledge of print design processes
Ability to develop print and pattern for the apparel industry
Ability to take direction and interpret ideas from Brand Product Management teams.
Ability to define problems
Ability to work quickly under pressure
Strong communication and organization skills
Swimwear experience preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
