This position is responsible for providing analytical and technical support to the business community through the development of programs that provide solutions to business problems. Job Responsibilities Include:
Collaborates with business partners on definition of business objectives.
Partners with IT BAs on assigned technology projects, to define project scope, create high-level project plans and create business requirements
Partners with business group representatives to learn and understand their business operations. Works with the business group to document and map the current-state business processes and to translate business needs into formal, documented business requirements. Responsible for prioritizing requirements based on business benefit/impact and cost.
Act as the liaison between business group representatives and system development personnel during development efforts.
Coordinates deployment schedules. Create and execute test plans. Manage testing resources.
Responsible to monitor technology implementation to ensure business requirements are being met.
Works on one or more complex projects.
Maintaining an acceptable level of technical proficiency in current area of focus in order to understand the interdependencies between the business and technical environments.
Supports creation, tracking and resolution of defects noted for on-line portal and policy management system
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE / DOMAIN EXPERTISE REQUIRED
Thorough understanding of reengineering approaches, identifying and mapping business processes, cost-benefit analysis, business case development, and data modeling techniques
Knowledge of systems development life cycles and agile scrum methodologies
A working knowledge of project management tools and techniques
An understanding of business and system interactions that benefit Aon customers
Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering
Demonstrated experience in writing business requirements and test cases
Experience managing UAT cycles and test case planning and execution
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
BA role for 2
years
Generally a minimum of 5 to 8 years related business experience.
Highly developed facilitation and consensus building skills.
Highly developed oral and written communication skills; strong presentation skills.
Strong ability to build and manage relationships.
CBAP - Certified Business Analysis Professional preferred
Additional Skills: This is a key position for the AICPA Insurance Trust. This position supports the AICPA Ins Trust Strategic Goals set by the client. Current projects in scope for 2015 and 2016 with client/budget approval includes: Implementation of a new Finance and Accounting System, Planning and Implementation of CRM, Introduction of Credit Card payment for customers and changes to our customers - Annual Refund Distributions. This is not an all-inclusive list of all projects in scope for 2015.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
