Large, innovative pipeline construction company seeks a Sr. Project Manager for their East Bay location.
This position will provide support to their client base in a timely and professional manner.
Position requirements include:
o A minimum of 5 years of project management and estimating experience in the pipeline construction industry.
o Knowledge of underground utility construction.
o Heavy estimating required
o Extensive knowledge of scheduling, staffing and scheduling.
o Ability to interpret and understand construction contracts, subcontracts, rental agreements and MSA rates
o A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a relevant discipline
o Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and the ability to learn/utilize construction accounting systems. Experience with Hard Dollar and Primavera P6 is a plus
Duties required (but not limited to)
o Establish and maintain positive client relationships
o Provide construction support to the clients
o Complete project site walks
o Provide analysis and design assistance to project and engineering teams
o Complete project estimates/bids/target pricing, schedules, and staffing requirements
o Review subcontractor quotes
o Seek out future project opportunities with clients
o Ensure all permitting, environmental requirements, and land agreements are in place
o Assist in the development of site specific safety plans

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
