Occupational Therapist
The Occupational Therapist, Registered / Licensed is primarily responsible for evaluating and administering occupational therapy as described by the standard of practice in various settings. Required to plan, establish, revise goals, contact physician at appropriate times. Perform Discharge Planning and promote Occupational Therapy through staff and community. This is a nonexempt position. The OTR/L reports directly to the Director of Rehab Services under the Administrative Division.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Educational Requirements: Must be the graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy program.
Licensure Requirements: Must be eligible for licensure or licensed by the State of Illinois to practice O.T.
Continuing Education Requirements:
Certification Requirements: Certified with NBCOT. Biennial CPR certification.
Professional Affiliations: AOTA membership recommended.
