Medical Supply Technician
This position is located in the Sterile Processing Services (SPS) Department at the Northern Arizona VA Health Care System.
This position serves as a Medical Supply Technician (MST) under the direct supervision of the Chief of SPS.
Performs essential work in the preparation, decontamination, and in the endoscope processing areas in order to support all of the clinical areas of the health care facility.
Assists in the sterile processing, maintains quality control records and assists with training.
Provides wards, clinics, operating rooms, and other hospital facilities with sterilized instruments, sets and endoscopes.
Processes, disassembles, cleans, and decontaminates reusable medical supplies and reusable medical equipment items in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, Manufacturer instructions, TJC, Infection Control and MMS Policies and Procedures.
This is a bargaining unit position.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
