Quality Manager


Job Description: Responsible for planning and directing quality assurance policies, programs and initiatives. Establishes, monitors and maintains the quality control system. Supervises the Quality Control Technicians.
Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Management of in-house Quality systems, ensuring adherence through auditing and training, and improving existing working practices, as required
Ensure that products and services meet customer specifications.
Point of contact for both internal and customers on all quality issues and queries
Investigates root cause and coordinates corrective actions for internal and external quality issues on a timely basis.
Control of non-conforming raw materials and finished goods
Determine and recommend necessary inspection and test equipment required for all phases of production (incoming and in process inspection, sampling, vendor and final testing, and inspection of finished products) across all areas of the operation
Direct various inspection and test procedures, and establish and maintain records necessary for quality control, including charts, statistical analyses, and reports
Develop the technical skills of each QC staff member by providing opportunities for on the job training and personal development
Maintains and updates the Quality Manual and the document control system.
Lead or participate in continuous improvement teams
Working very closely with all departments, especially Production
Job Requirements:
Quality process experience in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of cGMP's, FDA regulations, SOP implementation, as well as an understanding of quality control principles and QA audit functions.
Decision-making ability and ability to positively influence/manage people.
Excellent communication skills with production personnel and management
Excellent PC Skills
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Familiar with Corrective/Preventive Actions & problem solving techniques
Printing experience, preferably flexo.
Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma a plus.
Qualifications &
Experience:
BS Degree in Technical Area or equivalent certification.
Must have three to five years experience in manufacturing and quality managementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
