Design Engineer
This position could be a direct hire position for an ideal candidate The client is an established machine manufacturer that is looking for a Design Engineer to assist them with their manufacturing process.
The product designer is responsible for building models, BOM s, drawings, and product documentation.
Skills required:
o Proficiency in SolidWorks a must.
o PLC Experience / knowledge programming experience is beneficial but not required.
o General product design experience with the ability to refine and improve existing designs to improve efficiencies on the manufacturing floor.
o Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred but not required.
Attributes required:
Strong mechanical aptitude Strong people and communication skills the ability to communicate with machinists and shop floor staff is essential.
Someone that has worked in a machine shop would be great.
