Slot Technician

The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external customer.
The incumbent is also responsible for performing a wide variety of diagnoses and repairs of slot machines, with infrequent assistance; possesses extensive knowledge of both mechanical and electronic aspects of slot machine repair; provides training or assistance to lesser experienced technicians.

Provides superior customer service, positively effects interactions with external and internal customers and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers.
2.
Diagnoses and repairs mechanical and electronic slot machine malfunctions with minimal guidance or assistance.
3.
Replaces parts and circuit boards which have caused malfunctions; may repair some circuit boards, with assistance.
4.
May utilize shop machines to fabricate standard or routine parts.
5.
May occasionally act as a specialist in either mechanical or electronic areas.
6.
May be given occasional assignments to provide training to lesser experienced technicians or trainees.
7.
Maintains moderate skill levels in mechanical and electronic functions, with possible advanced skills in either.
8.
Performs general and preventive maintenance slot machine inspection, machine moving and installation.
9.
Must be able to trouble shoot all EGD'S and be self motivated.
Job Requirements:
JOB QUALIFICATIONS General understanding of electronics at the circuit board level.
General understanding of microprocessors.
Ability to use all machine test equipment.
These skills are typically acquired through the completion of an AA degree in Electronics and one-year slot repair experience, or through a minimum of two years' progressive slot repair experience.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
