Materials Resource Planner

We are currently recruiting for the following openings:
Materials Resource Planner, Harrisburg, North Carolina (Contract -- to -- hire)

Summary:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the primary responsibilities of the Material Resource Planner will be to oversee and coordinate component procurement, monitor work-in-process flow of material through production and supply chain, and maintain sub-assembly and finished goods bill of materials and current costs in the corporate enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
o Create, maintain and communicate a feasible Manufacturing and Supply Chain Plan including Capacity
Planning
o Works closely with operations, quality, sales, procurement and logistics to resolve daily issues and
achieve the needed production and shipping schedules
o Evaluates manufacturing or procurement challenges and constraints and develops solutions to
overcome
o Ensures back order situations are minimized by working with Operations Management and Finance to
establish appropriate inventory par levels for finished goods and sub-components
o Provides daily and long term production planning based on needs pertaining to demand forecast,
customer orders, ship dates, production efficiency and compatibility
o Develop production schedules and work orders for finished goods and component items based on
equipment, labor, and raw material availability
o Proactively identify supply constraints and develop countermeasures such as level loading production,
working overtime, adding equipment, outsourcing or expediting
o Perform root cause analysis on key metrics including customer delivery, plan vs. actual production,
finished goods inventory, and master schedule
o Create and communicate scenario's to support business decisions resulting in a leading integral supply
chain plan
o Monitor actual output verses the Master Production Plan, identifying gaps and drive solutions
o Develop inventory level targets and manage inventory and pace production to achieve targeted
inventory levels on both cost and unit basis
o Responsible and accountable for monitoring component availability to ensure on time delivery per
production schedule and to meet shipment of customer's deadlines
Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
o College Degree preferred, APICS certification a plus
o 3
years' experience in manufacturing production, purchasing and supply chain planning
o Attention to detail, strong analytical and organizational skills
o Strong leadership, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate
with other functional areas in order to build trusted relationships
o Experience working in GMP aseptic production environment/ISO facility is required
o Computer skills: MRP/ERP systems, WORD, EXCEL, VISIO, GP, Salespad
o Strong work ethic and understanding of quality systems
o Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, standard operating procedures, work
process aids, company policies, and instruction manuals
o Self-motivated, team focused and results oriented
o Must have a minimum two (2) years of experience working in medical device manufacturing or related
field in a team environment

While performing the responsibilities of the Material Scheduler's job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
Training Requirements:
The employee must be trained on all of the documents, procedures, software applications and topics listed in the Skills Matrix. Documentation of this training will be maintained with Human Resources. Additional training requirements may be added as deemed necessary by the supervisor.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
