Assistant Sales Manager REPORTS TO:
Store Sales Leader OVERVIEW OF POSITION:
In partnership with Store Sales Leader, the Assistant Sales Manager assists in the management of the sales, operations, brand, and human resource functions of the store to ensure maximum profitability.

Responsibilities:
Builds Talent Assists in recruiting top Sales Associate talentImplements and maintains sales associate training programsAssists in the performance appraisal process and gives coaching and feedback to associates as needed on the floor.
Identifies performance issues and policy violations according to company policy and partners with the Store Sales Leader (SSL) to address appropriately.
Ensures compliance with all Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policies Sales Generation Ensures an excellent customer experience at all times and works in conjunction with the SSL to create a Customer First culture.
Ensures daily zone coverage to maximize sales potentialEnsures action to achieve store sales goals and correct negative sales trendsSupervises Sales Associates to maintain an adequate level of floor supervisionMaintains merchandise standards to maximize salesEnsures that the sales floor is full and sizedEnsures achievement of store metrics on a consistent basisCommunicates customer feedback, best sellers, and recommendations to SSM Builds the Brand Ensures the achievement of company merchandise standardsImplements the visual presentation direction and updatesEnsures compliance to the Brand Dress StandardsMaintains a clean, neat, and organized storeMaintains Brand Operating StandardsAssists in the execution of inventories and maintains accurate inventory paperwork/recordsEnsures the appropriate execution of merchandise handling proceduresMeets payroll goals and all other controllable expensesAttains shrinkage goalsEnsures compliance with the Loss Prevention GuidelinesIdentifies supply and maintenance issues and partners with SSLMaintains store safety standardsCompletes additional duties and projects as assigned Operational Excellence REQUIREMENTS:
One to two years of retail experience, with at least one year of management experience preferredDemonstrated proficiency in recruiting, training, sales generation, operations, and merchandisingExcellent communication, delegation, follow-up, time-management, and analytical skillsStrong English language skills, both written and verbalProven ability to multi-task LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES:
All job functions should be performed according to the appropriate organizational leadership and functional competencies EDUCATION:
High school graduate or equivalent.
College degree preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
