Process Engineer, Injection Molding 45921
Supporting new technology and current production related injection molding processing needs: DOEs, scrap reduction support, root cause analysis;
Assisting in the development, design, testing, and installation of automated manufacturing systems and processes;
Providing assistance with development of Preventive Maintenance plans for specific materials and process related equipment;
Issuing and maintaining specifications an design standards for specific process-related equipment;
Identifying Value Engineering/Value Analysis ideas to be implemented into new product processes;
Assisting in identifying and evaluating new technologies to meet automation needs.
EDUCATION: 4-year degree required; Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Material Science Engineering, Plastics Engineering or related disciplines preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
2
years of engineering experience in injection molding processing;
Experience with processing of plastic parts for the automotive industry;
Knowledge and/or experience with injection molding equipment or material validation/testing;
Technical writing, data analysis, problem solving;
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
Organization, planning and business software (MS Office) skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
