PHYSICIAN (Pain Management Program Director)
The Medical Director for the Chronic Pain Management Program is located at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Service.
Duties of the position include but are not limited to:
1.
Overall management of the Chronic Pain Management Program.
2.
Provide consultation with pain management recommendations to VA provider upon face-to-face and e-consult requests.
3.
Maintain pain management compliance with facility, VISN, state and national regulations.
4.
Create innovative approaches to pain management care and implement throughout medical center to meet or exceed established regulations.
5.
Represent VA as our subject matter expert in the community.
6.
Coordinate implementation of continuing education opportunities relating to chronic pain management throughout medical center.
7.
Serve as the point of contact for programming, policy development, chronic pain treatment approaches for complex patients, resource management, etc.
8.
Direct supervision of the program coordinator.
Includes all human resource related tasks.
9.
Participate in committees, treatment teams, community focus groups, etc.
to assist in treatment approaches/SOP,'s for chronic pain sufferer.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:
00 am to 4:
30 pm.
Evenings and weekends may apply.
Functional Statement Title:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
