LifeFormations Structures team: Welding and Metalwork Animatronics
LifeFormations, an art and specialty fabrication studio, is searching for motivated individuals with a welding and metalworking background to work full time with our team.
Duties include fabricating rigid and mechanical armatures for use in animatronic figures, sculpted structures, exhibits and other themed elements. Ability to pass welding certification test for stainless steel is required.
The structures team works within a broader production team that includes digital and dimensional sculptors, metal and mechanical fabricators, woodworking, and painters and finishers.
Applicants should have ability to weld mild and stainless steel to professional standards, ability to follow drawings to fabricate structures, and ability to creatively build and problem solve through bench built structures that do not have pre-designed plans. Growth and promotion within the structures department, as well as the overall company is possible.
LifeFormations is an art and specialty fabrication studio specializing in branded toys, theme park attractions, museum exhibits and a variety of sculpted elements. Our work can be found internationally at leading theme parks, museums, science centers, public spaces, and a toy store near you.
