Corporate Quality Manager is responsible for the supervision and direction of the Quality Assurance Project Engineers, Quality Supervisor, and Quality Auditor staff in production areas. In the absence of the Deputy General Manager of QA, the Corporate Quality Manager is in charge of all related duties in managing the activities of the QA Department, with the exception of QA Testing and the SQA group.


Responsibilities:
Develops and implements a quality production program which insures conformity of purchased material and final products to strict quality standards.
Meets with customers and quality representatives to discuss and resolve quality problems as required.
Coordinates and works closely with Product Engineering department in support of current and new product development.
Works closely with Manufacturing Department personnel in support of operations.
Follows-up on customer complaints and warranty claims.
Supervises and directs the work of the Quality Assurance Project Engineers, Quality Supervisor, and Quality Auditor staff in production areas. Conducts and reviews job performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions, if needed.
Interact with external customers and internal customers.
Meets quality and quantity levels of assigned work, housekeeping, and safe work practices.
Verify accuracy of all documentation.
Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures

EDUCATION:
BS Degree in Engineering or Technical Field and/or 3-5 years experience in Quality Assurance.

Experience:
Computer experience w/MS Word & Excel and/or other similar software.
3 to 5 years experience in the Quality Field
3 MIS

SKILLS:
Above average mathematical skills, written skills, and verbal skills
Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, etc.
Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills.

TRAINING SPECIFIC to POSITION:
Capable of using basic measurement devices such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.
OTHER:
Ability to travel for extended periods of time with limited prior notice
Must be able to work any assigned shift or overtime at a last minutes notice.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions and to work independently with limited supervision.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Capable of overall professionalism in a business environmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
