Storeroom Attendant

At the direction of the Site Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing ongoing tasks associated with Storeroom Operations, such as (but not limited to) handling parts, receiving, stocking, issuing, cycle counting, interfacing with client end users, and delivery. Providing direct material support to the company's key customers, this position is a regular, frequent point of contact with the client and requires a strong, effective customer service capability.
Responsibilities:
Picking and/or issuing parts to customers in response to their needs. Issuing parts includes the completion of correct documentation to record the transaction, reacting to stock outs by notifying the buyer, and providing responsive customer service.
Stock parts after receipt into inventory by placing material into correct storage location, following procedures for FIFO and maintaining lot integrity.
Accurate cycle counting of inventory to prescribed frequency
Customer interactions - Notify customer (requisitioner) after parts are received (one time orders or back-in-stock) as applicable.
Deliver parts as required by customer agreement or as directed by management, making sure to follow safety and material handling rules.
Communicate out of stock or special needs to help ensure that stock fill rates and lead times are optimized.
Following customer required procedures such as factory rules for building access, safety, parking, and administrative requirements (such as entering data, completion of records). Customer required procedures will be communicated to the Storeroom Attendant by his/her Site Manager.
Perform other duties assigned.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability and willingness to cross train in storeroom responsibilities and disciplines.
Preferably minimum 6 month experience in warehouse/storeroom operations.
Able and willing to work in an industrial environment; may be exposed to heat, noise, and dirt.
Must be able to lift weight unaided of up to 50 pounds; higher weights using equipment such as pallet jacks.
Must be a motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
Preferred experience working with trades in a maintenance or repair environment.
Must be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of MS Office software and familiarity with ERP software.
Basic math skills are required.
Attention to detail and organization skills are required.
Customer service experience required.
May be required to work overtime.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
