Property/Maintenance Manager

Residential property management company is seeking a mature individual with general trade skills including minor plumbing, minor electrical and carpentry competencies. Selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the condition of about 45 single family rental properties in Ottawa and Erie Counties, Ohio, providing day to day maintenance as well as retaining and working with qualified contractors for larger projects and more complex repairs.
Ideal candidate must be capable of working independently without day to day supervision. A minimum of 8 years full time hands on maintenance experience in a residential setting is required. Experience in rental property and/or long term care facility maintenance is a plus. Candidates must be personable and have the ability to interact with a variety of persons including tenants with mental and physical disabilities, support staff and family members. Candidates must have basic computer skills and be familiar with using the Android mobile operating system and internet/cloud based applications. Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a criminal background check. Residency in Erie County (Sandusky, Huron, Vermillion, Milan) ,Ottawa County (Port Clinton area) or Western Lorain County (Amherst area) is required.
Compensation is dependent on abilities and experience ($20.00-23.00/hour). We offer a full benefit package including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, pension plan, and paid vacation, sick leave, personal days and holidays. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
