Motor Vehicle Operator

This position is assigned to the Transportation Team in Engineering Service at Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS), Tuskegee, AL.
Routine trip assignments are rotated to Montgomery and Tuskegee, AL, VA Atlanta, VA Birmingham, Columbus, GA and routine appointments at various private health care facilities.
This position is under the direct supervision of the Transportation Supervisor and receives verbal and written assignments from the supervisor or dispatcher.
Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
Completes preventative maintenance on vehicle(s); Documents information according to the Transportation policies and procedures; Records accurate, legible detailed documentation pertaining to each trip; Submits documentation in a timely fashion as set by supervisors; Maintains a valid CDL with passenger endorsement from state of residence; and Drives passenger sedans, passenger vans, passenger buses, pick-up trucks and heavy duty trucks with GVWR not exceeding 23,999.
Please Note:
Motor Vehicle Operators must hold a valid Commercial Driver,'s License with Passenger Endorsement.
At no time can the license have more than four (4) points for traffic violations and no points assessed for reckless driving.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
