Part Time Position Open for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. Hours would be afternoons Monday through Friday. Looking for a great fit to our awesome team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for the smooth flow of shipped and received goods and supplies that our company uses in production. Clerks record all pertinent information for every package received, including tracking information, dimensions and weight. Incorrect or damaged shipments need to be returned by completing the necessary paperwork to verify the issue.
Individuals who hold this position are also responsible for the timely shipment of customer orders. Whether goods are inbound or outbound, a Shipping and Receiving Clerk is required to maintain accurate records of all activity. They will update databases regularly. They report defective materials, keep up the work area and equipment, and ensure an adequate supply of shipping materials is available at all times. Candidate must be able to lift 25
pounds if necessary. Candidate may also be utilized in building upkeep as needed.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
