Position Information:
Will be appointed as Excepted Temporary Not-To-Exceed two (2) years if Non-Licensed Physical Therapy.
As a member of the Neurology and Rehabilitation Service, the successful candidate Serves as Physical Therapist (PT) in the Community-based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Eureka as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Develops a Physical Therapy program for patients who often have multiple complex medical problems, both acute and chronic.
PT interventions are designed to restore individual patients to their highest possible functional level and to enhance their adaptive capacities.
The incumbent is regarded as an expert in matters relating to physical rehabilitation and is utilized as a consultant by CBOC staff in this area.
This person is responsible for clinical and administrative aspects of the CBOC Physical Therapy clinic.
