Purpose and Description:
The role is responsible for coding and modifying websites to client's specifications and to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.
Strong experience with writing/debugging javascript (jquery) is needed to be successful in this position.
Experience with consuming REST web services/RSS and working with json/xml formats a plus.
Essential Functions:
Functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc .) is needed to be successful in this position.
Expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications, programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API's and responsive design.
Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
Regular exposure to business stakeholders and executive management, as well as the authority and scope to apply your expertise to many interesting technical problems.
The position requires constant communication with colleagues in all aspects of the work effort.
