Reverse Logistics - Senior Analyst - Framingham, MA

Position SummaryThe Reverse Logistics Senior Analyst (RLSA) has responsibility for the following key supply chain functions and is responsible for executing the critical support activities pertaining to the Pallet Program, the Recycling Program, the Waste Removal Program, the Salvage Program and the Charitable Donation Program.
What You'll Do Responsible for ensuring that NAD facilities are achieving equipment utilization targets, waste diversion targets, and complying with recycling/waste SOP's.
Manage the day to day relationships with NAD's third party service providers supporting the pallet, waste, recycling, and salvage programs.
The RLSA is responsible for monitoring service provider performance and for initiating corrective action plans, when service failures occur.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the FC's to resolve recycling/waste issues Responsible for continuously evaluating programs and the location level service propositions.
RLSA is responsible for initiating program improvement initiatives as cost savings opportunities are identified.
Responsible for sustaining a strong knowledge base of the key industries impacting the recycling, waste, and end of life programs.
The RLSA needs to anticipate the impact of new legislation, industry evolution, and technological advancements on Staples' programs and develop strategies for realizing additional benefit and/or mitigating potential exposure.
Perform a critical support role by assisting our fulfillment operations teams with achieving their sustainability targets.
Perform a critical support role for the fulfillment/distribution centers by ensuring that Staples' end of life merchandise programs are easy to execute, maximize recovery values, while at the same time ensuring minimal disruption to inbound/outbound operations.
Monitor FC performance on key performance indicators and initiates performance improvement activities to assist our field associates in improving their location level performance.
The RLSA is also responsible for coaching and mentoring field associates to ensure compliance with documented SOP's and drives improved performance.
Monitor vendor compliance with contractual service level commitments.
If vendors fail to meet agreed upon service level commitments, The RLSA is responsible for holding our partners accountable and working with them to develop strategies for improving performance.
What You'll Need Bachelor's degree 3-5 Years of Relevant experience Strong Business acumen with experience in Supply Chain Experience with Waste or Recycling is preferred Strong, clear verbal and written communication skills Ability to apply sound decision making skills to resolve high profile issues.

Qualifications What You'll Need Bachelor's degree 3-5 Years of Relevant experience Strong Business acumen with experience in Supply Chain Experience with Waste or Recycling is preferred Strong, clear verbal and written communication skills Ability to apply sound decision making skills to resolve high profile issues.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
